Rearmed contra ‘Pablo Negro’ killed in Honduras

(posted Jan. 13, 4:45 p.m.) - A decomposing corpse discovered yesterday with bullet holes in the head and stomach is that of rearmed contra leader Santos Guadalupe Joyas Borge, known as “Pablo Negro,” according to the victim’s family members.

The corpse was found yesterday morning in the Honduran border outpost of Las Manos. The victim’s family members say he was probably killed last Saturday.

The rearmed contra leader’s body was positively identified Friday afternoon by the victim’s father, according to Roberto Petray, executive director of the Nicaraguan Association Pro-Human Rights (ANPDH), an organization based in Estelí.

Petray told The Nicaragua Dispatch in a phone interview that “Pablo Negro” was the head of a rearmed group called the Democratic Front for Nicaragua’s Salvation-380 (Salvation-380), which took up arms last August.

Petray said the former contra rebel, who originally disarmed 17 years ago, was apparently killed on the Honduran side of the border. He said ANPDH is investigating the circumstances of his death.

Pablo Negro would be the second rearmed contra killed in the past year. Rearmed contra José Gabriel Garmendia, aka “Yajob”, was shot and killed last February in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The Nicaraguan Army has not commented on the death of Pablo Negro, but denies that there are any rearmed contra groups operating in Nicaragua. The armed groups are nothing more than delinquents involved in extortion, kidnapping and common crime, the military insists.

Petray, however, insists he has received reports from the countryside of two other rearmed groups—the Democratic Front for Nicaragua’s Fatherland and the Democratic Costal Front-380. All three of the alleged rebel groups are supposedly operating in the northern zone and in the region known as the mining triangle.

Roman Catholic Bishop Juan Abelardo Mata, of the Diocese in Estelí, says he has information that there are now four rearmed groups up north, and that the situation is worsening.

A true hero who will be remembered as the one who first realized there is no other way to get rid of the crap now installed in Managua as president. Hopefully this time there will be no negotiation just complete annihilation. Enough talking.
It will all go together with the resurgence of Republicans in DC (full right) with Marco Rubio as Vice President and the continuation of the eliminations of all the clowns as was done with Gaddafi, Assad, Admahenihad, Chavez and the child molester Ortega. No more political correctness just a blunt and square: so what!

Contra’s are no hero at all. They are paid mercenaries that mobilise the gullible, poor and tricked into fighting a war. The Iran-contra affair is one of the dirtiest well known US state sponsored terrorism. The world court demanded the USA to pay 6Billion US$ but the US does not recognise the world court. Who’s the world’s bully!

Killing in the name of…. peace, religion, or any other righteousness aspect is wrong. We should not eliminate/kill/lynch without a trial the people we dislike. I am sorry Pedro but your comments are “dangerous”.
